Located 270 km (165 miles) from Bucharest, 80 km (50 miles) from Targu Mures, and 130 km (78 miles) east of Sibiu, allk three with international airports, the guest houses are situated in a small 'Saxon' village.

The village, dominated by the restored medieval 'Saxon' fortified church, is located in the heart of traditional 'Saxon' Transylvania.

UNIQUE APPEAL
The rolling hills of Transylvania and the ancient fortified 'Saxon' churches remain largely undiscovered by most tourists. Country walks, horse rides, cooking classes are part of the offerings. Nearby is the village of Saschiz home to the local non-profit ADEPT that produces locals jams and other food products.

LOCATION/ACCESS
Access by car from Bucharest, Targu Mures, or Sibiu is on very good and scenic secondary roads. The last 10-15 kms are unpaved.

SERVICE & ORDER
The Grigore family gave up-professional lives and moved from Bucharest to open the guest houses in 2011. They brought special taste in their restoration work and high standrads of service. Culinary school classes are offered.

COMFORT
The guest houses are restored 'Saxon' farm houses; simple, high comfort rooms with private bathrooms.

CULINARY QUALITIES
Local fare is served with local wines.
